    In 2025 Cyprus introduced a digital nomad visa to attract foreign remore workers into the country.

    The Cyprus Digital Nomad Visa Scheme allows international workers from outside the European Union to apply for a residence permit who have a remote contract with a company based abroad. To be eligible to apply for this visa you need to be earning at least 3,500 euro per month and hold a private health insurance with a cover of at least 30,000 euro.

      Coding remote jobs in Cyprus tend to have the highest salaries which can range from 40,000 to 80,000 euro per year. Coders and programmers earn on average 4,000 euro per month.

      AI specialists can earn up to 90,000 euro per year.
