- Model Validation Scientist (risk management for a banking company), paying an annual salary of about 48,000 euro negotiable;

At a first glance, these salaries do not look as impressive as those for similar roles in Northern European countries. Many factors are at play, such as many recruiters are from legacy organisations in banking and law where salaries may not be as dynamic and competitive as in other sectors or in other countries. On the plus side, monthly salaries are paid 14 times a year instead of 12 as well as other additional bonuses, and the average annual salary (primarily for on-site jobs instead of remote jobs) is about 60,000 euro a year.
